hi all
just wondered from previous experciences if parents should book an appointment with the headmaster after ds's interview
i sure it would not influence the decision about an offer being made or not ??? would it
and also don't want to appear to self sure that we might even be lucky enough to get an offer
help please !! you can see im getting worked up and worried here and want to do the right thing
just wondered what other parents did and did their son get a place
thanks sooooo much everyone

Oooooooooooooh interviews are on!!
I'll be so glad when this is all over, I can't focus on anything else at the moment.
Still Habs was cool so hope DS copes with MTs as well - any hints or tips greatly appreciated.

Hi coolmum5, how did your ds do in habs interview ?
Was wondering what kind of boys are they are looking for ?
Passing time and just anxiously waiting for the results. xx

Hey, hello there! I hope he's done alright but you know boys - they never tell you much do they?
He seemed quite happy and the Head Teacher's interview was quite painless for us. We've just got MTs now - and then the wait, same as you!
How did your son fare? Is he doing MTs too? Lots of luck x

I think Habs still want very academic boys. MTs seem to want an all-rounder. Apparently, it was a record year for both schools - so the competition is fierce. What sort of things did they ask at MTs - any surprises?

For my DS it was straightforward no surprises at all just usual questions at MT. But I agree with you
they seem to want an allrounder. I really dont know how each teacher is given candidates. Do
they decide based on exam results and heads report which teacher is going to interview which boy ?
There are so many questions going on in my mind. I hope to get some answer from someone  .
Best wishes to your DS. xx
