Re: awaiting those letters....
Do you know, I sometimes get really choked up reading some of these forum pages. It just shows how many amazing parents there are out there, striving for the best for their children. So here's to us parents! We're wonderful aren't we? It makes me feel so happy to think that my DS may end up at a school with children from such supportive and loving homes.

How long roughly do the letters come after exam.
Re: awaiting those letters....
It depends where you're applying to. They will send out your offer letter at the same time as everyone else's.Sadler wrote:How long roughly do the letters come after exam.
We get ours during the half-term week.
Re: awaiting those letters....
We are waiting for an interview. So we don't know if child has passed exam or not.
Re: awaiting those letters....
Oh sorry! I misunderstood. We got a phonecall and letter within a week of sitting the exams from both of the indies we applied for. Which schools are you waiting to hear from? They all have their own timescales.
Re: awaiting those letters....
yes, awaiting interview (or 'thank you that was it') letters right now. The actual offers mid-Feb I believe.
One of the three schools DS sat said they will send an e-mail if you have not passed the academic test (DS registered to attend Sports Trials for Sports Scholarship) this Friday, as the trials are early next week... one of those e-mails you pray not to get!
Oh, and about the 'early peek' - DH at home, but ademant we should let DS open the letter as promised... Asking him to talk to DS first about possible outcomes... and I will go home early today. Not sure why I am stressing so much about it. Still two more to find out about (but this is the one that would come the top of the list).
Too late... to move out of London!
Take care all

One great thing in this stressful time is this forum.
We never feel alone and bit relieved to see others also get the same thoughts.

It's hard not to stress because it means so much to us.
Still, try and chill out and I hope you get good news soon x
