Am considering sending my DD to Belmont School in Year 7 with the intention of transferring to Mill HIll School.

Am sure that Belmont is right school for DD. However following tour of Mill Hill, I have some doubts. Girls seemed to be in a very small minority at Mill Hill and the school has a definite masculine feel to it.

Would really welcome comments from anyone who knows Mill Hill and how well girls settle in and do there.

I know several boys who go to Mill Hill, to be honest I have never heard girls mentioned so didn't know it was co-ed!!I think the boy:girl ratio would be strongly for boys . Did you know they do Saturday morning school?
I have heard from the parents that it is a very snobby school, i.e you are very much judged on family wealth/parental occupations unlike my DS's indie school which is also predominantly male (3:1 ratio) but very mixed intake.
Have to admit the grounds and the setting are magnificent!
