Queenswood school hatfield

Does anyone have knowledge of this school and what it is like?? Any info would be greatly appreciated...thank you!

We applied to Queenswood this year and last year. It is a lovely school with a strong music focus and a very strong sports focus. Hockey is their number one sport but they also have a very good cross country track and they host many district events there. They have a lot of international girls who board. They interview all applicants before they sit the exam and they also have music, drama and sports scholarships. They have a small intake of 60 girls and they do very well in the local league tables. Lots of families come out from London who are looking for a traditional girl boarding school. The staff are lovely and stay a long time. If you have the money and have a sporty daughter you can't go wrong. Heath Mount in Ware and Stormont in Potters Bar are big feeder schools. DG

Thanks for that DG. Quite expensive compared to others, will your DD be going there then or was it just one of her choices??
