Cross-country at Habs Boys

Please excuse my ignorance, but I would just like to ask how far (in miles) are the boys expected to run and what is considered a good time? Also, where do they run? Our DS is becoming a keen runner but wasn't sure if his time was competitive. Many thanks, in advance, if you can help!

I can't remember the distance they run but your DS will soon find out if he's good in comparison to his peers as the first inter-house competition is the cross-country race, held a couple of weeks into the Autumn term. The route takes them into Aldenham country park and every boy takes part, like it or not! If your DS shows promise then he'll be tapped on the shoulder & invited to come along to cross country club.
