St Georges, Edgbaston

Post by amanda967 »

Hi,

Does anyone have children that are attending St Georges in Edgbaston or have any further information?

My son has been offered a place for this September and he will get the opportunity to spend the day there next week. I have attended the open day but it would be great to hear any parents views on the school.

A friend has son in current year 7. He enjoys it very much. They chose it because he wasn't likely to get into grammar school or a more academic school such as KES, but didn't want him to go to their local boys' comp.

Well I went round it for open day and was rather shocked at the state of the buildings, there was a lot of woodrot!! Also lots of potential health and safety issues like sharp tiles sticking out and disrepair. I couldn`t live with that. However seeing the children on the bus they are very well behaved and results seem to improve all the time.
