Hello SAA, I posted on this school back in Nov. Great school, good coach service, close to railway station, very sporty especially hockey. Small, only 60 girls and two classes. Very dominated by preps as they had two classes from 4 years onwards. We know girls who started in prep (got to read twice a day with the teacher! Amazing!) and others who started in Year 7. We know a girl who moved there from St Helenas and seems much happier. I would say the girls are a tad materialistic, we hear a lot about private helicopter pads, horses and multi bedroom houses! The head has her own dd in Year 7 this year which is a vote of confidence in the school. It would help if you could tell us what your decision criteria is and which other schools you are considering. Lots of local girls choose between St Francis, St Helenas, Queenswood, St Albans and Habs. We saw the same girls at each exam! If sport is your thing Queenswood is unrivalled at Hockey and v good at cross country. St Albans dont play Hockey, they do Lacrosse so difficult to judge that but v good at Netball. Habs less sporty more academic. Habs bigger so more opportunities. Tell us more about your requirements. DG
