Bancroft's Car Pooling
Hi
My son is starting at Bancrofts from this Sept. I'm writing to ask if anyone will be traveling from North London (Palmers Green or nearby) & would be interested in sharing the school runs.

Hi
I mostly used past papers from independent schools which are available from their websites - there is a list on this forum for the schools which give free past papers online. In addition, I used Latymer past papers & my husband also made up some maths exam style papers for him to practise.
Apart from that we made him read a lot & discussed what he had read at ramdom intervals from the book he was reading. Quality is more important than quantity in reading (I feel) as the child has to be able to understand, analyse & be able to discuss what he/she has read.
We home tutored as we could not find a good tutor & the one we found was not very good.
I think I replied to a similar question from you on another thread.
