Were you at the show on Saturday or Sunday?

I missed Saturday and only just managed to go late on Sunday due prior commitments and missed all the presentations. Would be great to hear from you, especially if you attended any of the presentations / talks on Saturday or Sunday and share any old nuggets, if any. Or any other things that you would like to share about the schools you spoke to, especially in the Greater London areas.

Myself and my wife attended the show last saturday, although there were some interesting apsects namely bond papers and tutor groups. On the whole the show was disappointing, there was no representation of any of the top 20 independent schools in the country based on 2012 eague tables. No representatin from any of the north london based independent schools apart from Harrow boys, who looked abit out of place.

In the main the schools present where the ones no one had heard of, where no doing well on the league tables, and so appeared to be drumming up business.

I suppose schools who have lots of people applying and waiting lists don't need to spend money on advertising at such events, they have more than enough interest ... - nor do they need to travel abroad to drum up custom, which seems to be happening more and more.
