Good luck to your DC Sleepyhead.

My DD is sitting the North London Girls Consortium exams on the 11th and 18th - we are not ready!

Good luck to all of us, indeed. We sit exams on 7th, 13th and 17th, and i am nervous to the point of collapse, as Christmas holidays did't help much to keep DS focussed :(( can i have some general anaesthetics please? :P

Hi.. we are a couple of years behind - 2014 for Grammars and 2015 Jan for Independent - North London Girls' Consortium. Starting early as I'm prone to usually leaving things to the last minute and thought I'd better get my act together!

Thinking of you all.. I'm stressed already just getting DD to do an essay - seems to take forever with lots of input from me.

Sure your DC will do well.

Thank you! Good luck to everyone else too.

We have exams on 7th, 12th, 13th and 14th. DC will be shattered by the second Monday.

Does anyone have any last minute tips or advice on indie exams and interviews?

Hi - ds is sitting the Whitgift 10+ next thursday - eeeek!

Actually he's looking forward to it, it's me that's worried  Thankfully we are really just doing it as a 'dry run' to give him some exam experience - I don't think he's ready tbh but he seems up for it. If he does well, fabulous - if he doesn't it's no big deal atm.

My only worry is that it might put him off...

Thank you and good luck to everyone!
We have exams on the 10th and 12th and I feel we really need at least another month to prep... although I would probably have felt the same even if we'd had another 6 months

nothing yummy I know that feeling. But also think we may be getting to silly stage. Today DS couldn't do his three times table. DH was tearing his hair out. DS is top table maths and more than capable of knowing 3x8 by heart, it's just I think so much other stuff has piled in recently - all the material our state school doesn't cover - that the old knowledge had been misfiled! Hope that's what it is!
