Received a letter today ....the head of the Senior school as resigned...

Is this a good thing...having a new head?

Asked a friend with girls in the school about this as we had a VERY bad experience with a change of head at another school. She was very reassuring that because it is GDST the head is less influential than at other schools. I'm still pretty frightened. Do not want to find that the school we choose becomes something else entirely....again. If DD gets a place, that is.
