NLCS invitation letter for interview arrived this morning.

I think it's even worse when it's a sibling (no priority at all). I love the culture at NLCS and anywhere else is unknown territory.

Really interesting post... do all you well informed mums know whether the same applies to City? ie if you get an interview, high chance of being offered a place.... or not....?

I'm afraid I don't know the answer but they interview around 300 girls at City so guess not so likely. It's interesting that at the City open day they asked parents not to apply to them if they really want nlcs and vice versa, as essentially they will be offering to the same candidates - at the top of the group 2 pile I suppose.

CLSG has more places available. About 15 girls coming up from the preps versus 40 from NLCS.

Where did you hear 15 CLSG Prep? I heard there are more than 20 girls in Prep moving to the senior school. Their class averages 22-25 students.
