Re: St Pauls interviews
Does anyone know how they decide whether the head or the deputy head interviews?

Re: St Pauls interviews
I'd imagine it would be split in terms of who has the time in the day. There wouldn't be anything else behind it. At this stage DC are just names and numbers on a piece of paper.
Re: St Pauls interviews
Some have said that if Dc is interviewed by the head they have more chance of being offered a scholarship as the head makes the final decision and would want to meet these students personally?
Re: St Pauls interviews
oak, Head of what? The entire school, i.e. the Headmistress? From what I've seen on their website, there are so many "Heads" there, one for each department and classes ("Head of the Lower School, Head of the Middle School, etc.)
My daughter was interviewed by a "Head" but not THE Headmistress. Is she a scholarship candidate then by your definition? Just curious.

Re: St Pauls interviews
I actually meant to say the Head of the school.
Re: St Pauls interviews
Thankfully the process is done for us! DD had her interview this am at St Paul's and said she felt she did well. I didn't catch the name of the man who interviewed her, but as it was a man, I can be sure it was the Headmistress
Anyway, I did ask our escort about numbers and she said there were 200 girls being interviewed for 100 places. Not too bad of odds at this point!

Don't worry most people are happy and in a good mood on a Friday because it is the last working day of the week ( I think this include teachers???). So I am optimistic, compare to Monday???? Monday Blue????Oschi wrote:DD got through to interview too. But late on a Friday, so not the best time according to above mentioned article. But very happy she had a positive response.
Re: St Pauls interviews
Do you know any interview questions that they asked her.
Re: St Pauls interviews
I'll be happy to post them, but can anyone (a moderator perhaps?) let me know if that's allowed? I don't want to get in trouble out of ignorance!
