I know several teachers there. It's common knowledge.

Shame - my DS is joining the 6th form in Sept hopefully and we had hoped Mr Grant would be there for the 2 years.
Is he retiring?

Since posting my initial thread in February, it has been a announced that Mr Grant will be retiring next year. The school is currently in the process of recruiting a new Head to take over in September 2014

Whilst it is a great shame that Mr Grant will be leaving, i am sure the Governors will offer the position to an equally impressive individual.

Where has it been announced?
There isn't anything on the school website?

All parents of the school were formally notified in writing sometime ago.

I see - thanks.
That's a shame but I don't suppose it will make too much difference to DS as he will be studying hard for his A2's by then.
At least Mr Grant will still be there for his first year of AS's.
So the Head of MTS is retiring at the end of this term, Head ot St A's next year - wonder who it will be next?!
