Equipment for NLCS exam on Friday
Does anyone know if they need a ruler?
Pens, pencils, rubber, sharpener. Anything else? Does it have to be in a clear case or is their normal pencil case ok?

I would always put exam stuff in a clear pencil case (or sandwich bag!) as the formal GCSE?A level exams have this as a formal requirement and it is certainly good practice as it proves nothing untoward is going on! I also remove labels from water bottles and put any sweets in a clear plastic bag, out of their wrappers!

Re: Equipment for NLCS exam on Friday
DD2 had a bit of a wobble last year when she realised that she had forgotten her pencil case. All I had was a biro on me. She was reassured that they didn't care what she wrote the exam with. They want to see the girls way of thinking, especially on the maths, so rubbing out isn't necessery. DD2 is having a fantastic time at NLCS.
I'd follow the above advice. Pens with spare ink, pencils, rubber, snack, clear case.
Good luck! I'll be doing tea and sympathy at the interviews and hope to see you!
