I couldn't agree with you more Ladymuck. However, for DDs that are really keen on their instrument and are considering going professional, this is a fantastic opportunity for them to start their careers. There are loads of concerts, ensembles and they go on tour abroad once a year at some schools. This is really good, considering that by the time they are in Year 9 they should be around Grade 8 level so they have the opportunity to continue and have the support of the school.
