Hi,

I am new to the site.

Today we have 2 offers:
Eltham College - fee paying
Colfes - 10% scholarship

I wonder which is the better school? Eltham Head told us that DS came top 20 in the exams, and then he went on about Scholarship schemes, but we didn't receive a scholarship offer today

Eltham is stronger for an academic point of view. The scholarship is quite low and as such I would suggest Eltham unless you prefer Colfes for the distance or due to the fact it is a mixed school.

Thank you Lefol. I have read previous posts which indicated that Eltham is stronger, but that was a few years ago I think. I wondered if things have changed since then.

We are still waiting for answers from City and Forest, but if we don't receive any more offers, we will definitely choose Eltham.
