If not, I respectfully suggest you either put up or shut up.
So, you do not have a single example? Just one will do.

The premise of my comments were based on two examples I know from first hand discussions. There's another couple but these are based on second hand comments so I wouldn't use them.

Every good poster has had an ASBO at some point in their career...

Sorry I won't name names, but I am correct, so we'll leave it there.

You could google another example - Victor Moses... I bet he didn't sit the Whitgift entrance exam...

If I am not mistaken, you are refering to the new ISEB pre-test for Harrow, qualifying you for the interview?
From what I can understand, Harrow has so many applicants now (1600+) that they had to put this measure in as they simply dont have the resourses to interview every boy who apply.
I personally thought it was a method of weeding out the no-hopers (sorry for the harsh term) but the boys at our school just got their results and several strong candidates have not been accepted for interview.
DO you have your result yet OP? I wish you the best of luck!

Hello
Have you heard any news OP? The boys who sat this test at our school have been notified.
I originally thought this test was simply to weed out the hoppeless cases, but several very able boys have not made it through to the intervew stage. Hope you have received positive news!

Hi tingeling, yes it's the iseb test I'm hoping to hear back about ( next step would be the interview). I still haven't heard back which is really odd. My ds has some pre tests coming up this month so I think I'll wait till the end of the month until I contact Harrow. It's just if it's a no from Harrow i don't want to put him off his other tests. I do find it strange that they haven't got back, could they be that disorganised that they missed us out on the email list? Or do they not tell everyone that hadn't been accepted? I'm not sure what to think
