Whitgift exams for 2016 entry

Post by Moormum »

Good luck for all our DSs!!!
Does anybody know why we should pick children up so late? Will they have long break times?

They'll be given lunch and a reasonable break time. And there are of course 4 papers to sit, so there will be a chance for a break in between.

Good luck! It is always the waiting that is worst for Whitgift IME.

Oh, not the waiting today! The waiting for the phone call! Some boys will get a call tomorrow for interview, whilst others may have to wait for up to 3 weeks. It is very difficult if you are in the latter camp, as some of the boys will have had their interviews before you've heard anything.

Are you sitting Trinity too?

Thank you Ladymuck! It's very useful information. No, we are not sitting Trinity. Our DS was sitting Hampton and Dulwich College. And he will sit KCS Wimbledon. I see he is under huge pressure and it makes me feel guilty. Poor children!

Well, the good news is that the numbers are on his side for Whitgift as they have a larger intake than most of the others. Dulwich give you a date for when they will notify you about interviews don't they?

Thank you Moormum. Have you been contacted by Hampton regarding the interview?

It was in the post last year. Though the early academic scholarship interviews were probably call or email (I don't know) as they start interviewing some of them tomorrow (Friday). The all rounder and other scholarship assessment letters came after the first letter re interview.
