I contacted Whitgift and DS has been offered a place :D

DS now has choice between Trinity and Whitgift. We would be pleased with either of the schools but have not really compared them until now. Can anyone tell me the main differences between both?

So happy this whole process is now finally over :D
If you don't have a preference for either of the schools, I would go with Trinity as it is quite a bit cheaper unless they are planning a huge hike in fees from September.
It felt like I hit rock bottom; suddenly, there was knocking from beneath... (anon.)

Thank you Purple duck,

Yes the difference in the fees was tempting but in the end my son chose Whitgift. Trinity is a lovely school too and I feel sad to be turning it down.
