550 boys sat exam and they are interviewing 1/3 of them; boys who had achieved 70% and above in both maths and english paper, also boys had to have scored more than 125 in the reasoning. Also the final offer would be based on statements from current school, interviews as well as the test scores. They appeared genuinely sorry to turn boys away, but didn't want to offer false hope by interviewing any more as they only have 60 spaces, but on a positive did state this year was very competitive and standard was higher than normal.
