I understand that if an offer is declined then another child will get a place. But it is offer day in one week. I'd be amazed if it's possible to change the allocations at this stage, because of the need to check all the knock-on implications for all the other children.

There just isn't enough time - on another thread someone said the information is sent to schools the day after tomorrow - so that means just one day to make and check all the changes. I know it's computerised but even so, it must take a long time for the programme to check all the variables. But if anyone who works in admissions wants to correct me please do.

^just to confirm my council have today told me to wait until allocation day and decline. I Was told far too late to remove ds now.
