RGS Guildford/Hampton
DS did really well in the 11+ and has been offered places at RGS Guilford (Yr 9) and Hampton (Yr 7). We feel really lucky, but struggling to decide.
He is at a prep school and is reasonably bright; recently been moved to top sets for all subjects. He is not especially sporty but like playing cricket, hockey and tennis. He is a summer born and has a group of friends at school.
Would anyone know how hard is the Common Entrance (CE) exams, as the RGS offer is conditional to performing well in the CE exams in Yr 8. Also, would anyone know if RGS has rejected anyone in the past based on the CE performance?
