Reputation for pastoral care is excellent. Perhaps post this on Bexley/Bromley thread as the local mums there will know this school.

DD was in the lower school until Y2. There is a big brain drain from Y3 onwards to the selective schools but the pastoral care and sports are excellent. We mainly left as the gap between her peers academically was causing a number of challenges but it was sad to leave. DD has a friend in the senior school, they stayed on as their local state choices were not good at all. She is happy there, the school buses make it easy for working Parents as they pick up from the front door of your house and drop back likewise.
