Haileybury last minute move to online CEM from old style VR
Can anyone enlighten me further as to what exactly happened here?
For many years the 11 plus Haileybury exam has been four exams written in house: Maths, English, VR and NVR.
And this is what it still states on their website for the exams that were held in November this year.
However I have been told that applicants were sent a letter one week before the exam stating that because of a large rise in applicants the VR was being moved to a computer based CEM test.
As we all know CEM is different to old style VR so this really did not give applicants much of an opportunity to prepare.
Offers as a results of the tests were made on Friday.
I wonder if some applicants got caught out by this and if Haileybury will now continue with computer based CEM.
