Lovelywin - my DD didn't finish that paper either. I assume (guessing again) there are more questions than are possible in the time available? (or maybe if you're a total maths genius you can get them all!)

It is almost impossible for anyone to solve all questions of Section C in the given time. I would guess less than 3 students would have completed all five questions.

We have just received an interview invite from SPGS. We are from a small primary school and noone else from our school took the SPGS exam, so we have no idea what to expect. Would really appreciate it if parents who have been through this experience jog their memory and give us an idea of what the format is like and what sort of questions are asked.

DD is through to the interview! Guess those 2 last maths questions aren't the decider!

Hi RSWest, we are also from a small primary and nobody else in my daughter's year applied there either. From what I understand, though, the interview is a pretty low key affair.

DD also did not finish the Maths exam!

Thank you Elky, are you in the process this year or your DD is already st SPGS? I have been told the SPGS interview a very probing one, though no idea in what way.

We are in the process this year, same as you! The only specific thing I've heard (from a couple of sources) is that girls are asked to look at a picture/painting/photo and talk about it. But that might have changed with the new High Mistress. Good luck to you and your DD, whatever!
