How do you cope the night before?
The school my son REALLY wants to go to was due to post out The Letters today, so presume they will arrive tomorrow....
As I am working @ home tomorrow will have no distractions to take my mind off. And the next day is his birthday...( he does not know letter due so if bad news will not tell him till Monday.)
Any strategies for remaining sane till tomorrow...???

you could visit Rehab section in the forum - I found it a real life jacket when I felt like I was sinking under the waiting of The Letter!
Good luck to you and your son. 8)

One visit to Rehab, especially the Hotel California, and the letter might start to feel like a life-jacket. :D

Good luck Thea - I suggest you get out of the house until the postman's usual arrival time if you can possibly juggle that.

Best wishes

Many thanks - will try all those. Postie now calls ay time between 12 & 4...
I have also visualised opeing and receiving the negative outcome, and thought of very good reasons why actually that could be better :? (Is that cognitive dissonance or just 'pollyanna-ish-ness, as my DH calls it?)
