HARROW SCHOOL - unrealistic expectations
My DS is currently in Year 5 - we recently attended an open day at Harrow School, and my DS loved the environment.
He is currently at a state primary and is academically able according to the teachers etc - (not that this is any accurate measure of entrance potential for Harrow).
I am interested in whether we are being totally unrealistic in hoping that he may be able to win a place, with him being in the state sector. I have searched back on Harrow School within the forum, but am keen for any experiences, in the last two years, of state school pupils....
Not surprisingly, we would be hoping for a bursary ...

Re: HARROW SCHOOL - unrealistic expectations
is Harrow 13+? you might need to go to a prep school or do the 11+ and go to another private school for 2 years, I don't think going from state school at 13 is entertained, but I may be wrong.

Thanks for the replies.
Has anyone, actually experienced the process, or successfully gained a place for their DS?
