Colet Court or Kings College Junior School - dilemma!!!!

Post by Thea »

Hi - would appreciate input from anyone with knowledge of these schools.
My son has been offered places at each of these, and we have to decide this week as we are away next week.
Tey are equidistant - tho' KCS hasa slight advantage in that the school bus stops outside our house
There really seems no difference , they are both fantastic and we have been assured by both that a child does not have to be sporty to thrive there( DS a very active boy but hates team games)
if anyone has any insights I would be extremely grateful!!!!
Best Regards,
Thea

Hi Thea

Can't really offer you much by way of advice, but just wanted to say well done to your DS. He has done so well to get offers from both schools, and I guess as dilemmas go it's a nice one to have!

One way to look at it is that if he goes to KCS he'll go right through till 18 there, whereas at CC he'll have to transfer (to St Paul's?) at 13. Have you looked round St Paul's?

I think in this sort of situation it's always best to go with your gut instinct, but easier said than done I know. Sure you'll make the right decision.
