For anyone who has DS sitting 10+ at Hampton in Nov
Hello!
Just wanted to start a thread for anyone who has a DS sitting Hampton's 10+ deferred entry exam on 10 Nov. I'm happy to share what prep etc we are doing, but perhaps more so a thread to help with the nerves post-exam!

Hi happymommy
We are using a combination of Bond and CEM practice books (WHSmith or Amazon) along with past papers that are available on school websites. (They aren't many!) They all have varying levels of difficulty so it's a little hard to know where to pitch the level of study. But we're working through all of them, bit of a scattergun approach really! But as far as I can tell, the 10+ is more about raw ability. Plus we're treating it as a dry run for the 11+. We're just trying to hone in on exam technique, working under timed conditions and expanding that vocalb! It's the English side of things that needs polishing for us. Thankfully, not many more weeks of it!
