Group Interview
My DS has a group interview at John Lyon tomorrow. This will be the first interview he has faced and he is quite nervous. As he is quite shy, group situations are not his strong point, yet, he is a bright boy academically. From the experience of board members, do the schools mitigate for this - i.e. ensure that all boys have a chance to speak, or is it a case of the most confident boys benefit with the group interview?
Re: Group Interview
That's new, there was no group interview when DS did it. I thought a group interview was to help the teachers spot and potentially exclude trouble makers that would make teaching difficult in a class room setting, IMO being shy but attentive and interacting politely with peers and teachers is what they are looking for. Will there be an individual interview as well?
