Well done to your ds! Our ds was offered a place a couple of years ago. content removed by moderator

It was very daunting for ds but he was offered a place. Just to note, ds was a bursary candidate so the process may be different for ‘normal’ places.

Good luck, it’s an amazing school!

Thank you for the response.

It was a daunting experience - three people interviewing my eleven year old - but he came out feeling quite good so they were quite kind and encouraging. He went in thinking ST pauls is his first choice but came out quite confused. We dont have offers from either but if we do get an offer from westminister , may I PM You and get some more information about the school - thanks!

Hello my son has also just had an interview at WUS. It was 2 teachers together and they did a poem comprehension plus general questions. You mention your son saw 3 teachers - were they all in the same room or did he have 2 parts to his interview? Does it sound similar to my son’s? I’m wondering why they would be different?!

I suggest you remove this information about the interview until the interviews are over.

You are impacting the chances for your ds by informing others what to prepare for.

There are only 20 places on offer. DG

Hi,

Finally we have decided, after much deliberation to send our DS to Westminster.

It was a very tough decision to make, knowing DS would get a place in QE boys, but DS was impressed with WUS and ultimately his happiness is 'WHAT COUNTS'. :D

The beginning of another journey starts next Saturday when the school has invited all the new applicants for catch up lessons so they can be ready with the existing pupils in September 2019.

Many thanks to the members in this forum for helping us in making a decision.
