Bournemouth Collegiate School v Bournemouth School

Hi,
I am considering future schools for my son who is quite a character, bright and also gifted in drama and art. I have girls at Bournemouth School for Girls and while it is of course, very academic, they do really encourage the ‘whole’ of life and not just academics, which feels healthy. I am not getting the same feel for the boys grammar school, which is making me feel anxious for my son (bizarrely, both my girls would cope better with that, but I don’t think he would!). For those with sons at Bournemouth School, am I wrong? Would really value peoples’ views on this, and happy to be told I am wrong!
Does anyone have children at Bournemouth Collegiate School? It looks like they offer bursaries for children gifted in drama and art, so this might be a good fit. But I can find very little feedback about the school. Any comments on this?
