Habs interview
Hi
Any tips on what to expect at the interview?
Coming from a state primary school, would my DS be at a disadvantage I wonder. Is there anything we can do to prepare him?
Any information most welcome!

Re: Habs interview
Your DS will not be at a disadvantage.
Try not to worry about this until after the exam. Most of all ensure that he is not coached too much, as any half decent school will spot this a mile off and it will not work in his favour. Nearer the time make sure he has thought about his likes/dislikes/strengths etc and has some awareness and interest in the world around him but nothing more. They will be able to get the information they need/want, and it really is not worth bothering with until much nearer the time, and then only glancingly

Re: Habs interview
Do not spend one second on the interview now.
Last year over 600 boys applied to Habs so you need to be focusing on your ds beating hundreds of other boys in his score for the exams.
One thing you can be doing now is making sure he watches the news every day and you discuss current issues with him.
Habs look for boys who are aware of the society around them and look to make an contribution in their adult life.
