NLCS travel on Northern Line from HighGate/Archway stations

Post by NorthLondonMummy »

Any existing NLCS or new 2020 Year 7 starters travelling to NLCS. Please PM.

What time do you start at Highgate station and how is the journey in terms of crowdiness and time? How regular are the Northern Line trains at that time in morning.

At Edgware Station: how frequent are the NLCS Shuttle? Do you ever end up walking rather than waiting for it?

Thank you for your answers and time.

Hi and welcome to NLCS!

We are about 5 minutes walk from the tube (Archway).

DD will be starting Year 9 in Sept.

She leaves the house at 7am and arrives with time to spare for the 7.45am shuttle from Edgware. Her other Northern Line friends who prefer a lie in, leave close to 7.30am and still make it in to school on time. Shuttle buses run about every 10 minutes. The shuttle bus drivers would never see girls waiting at Edgware and not return to come and get them. DD has never walked to school that I know of.

Trains are regular and not at all crowded at that time in the morning. The girls make plans for which carriage they will be on so generally travel in and back together.

I'm happy for you to PM me if you would like.
