Post subject:  St Albans High School for Girls using Online ISEB pretest

St Albans High School for Girls will be using the online ISEB pretest for their exam on Jan 5th 20201.

This is Multiple Choice English, Maths, VR and NVR.

They are also going to use a creative writing written task to make sure that girls securing a place are able to write and spell!

This brings STAHS more in line with the North London Consortium in their exam format but further away from HABS, City, NLCS, St Pauls and Highgate.

St Pauls girls does use the ISEB pretest as a first round to reduce the number of applicants but the second round is the traditional standard format Maths and English Comprehension and Composition, the same as HABS, City, NLCS and Highgate.

The above information is not correct. St Paul's Girls' School (SPGS) does not use the ISEB pre-test for their first round and the second round has an additional third paper.
