Please could someone advise, whether Bofa or Atom are best suited? Looking for an on line platform to help support DIY.
Thank you

Could someone clarify a point on the English pre-test mock on ATOM, they appear to include grammar questions while the ISEB website says that :

English question styles include reading comprehension, sentence completion, spelling and punctuation

Thank you

Atom has published the standardised scores they think students need to get into various schools e.g. Westminster, St Paul's etc.

However, if anyone here has a child who has Atom AND got a place, what sort of standardised scores were they achieving on Atom (in English, Maths, VR and NVR) just before the ISEB pre-test?

Thanks

DS had 125s in the verbal/English arena and 135-140s in Maths and NVR. Pretty well matched his CAT scores. Was enough for SPS and CLS, only two schools that he applied to that required the ISEB.

The Atom ISEB English mocks are much harder than the actual exam. They test a lot of grammar that isn't tested (participle clauses, transitive verbs etc). Apparently, Atom claims your child will unlock KS3 material once they achieves 130+ in the mocks.

My DS found English and NVR easier on the actual test relative to Atom. VR and Maths was slightly harder on the actual test vs Atom. I don't think it's worth paying for Atom for more than a month - for some DC if they've already been thru the superselective grammars, the free 5 day trial will be sufficient.
