Westminster School 11+
Does anyone know when the results of the ISEB pre-test are expected?
Re: Westminster School 11+
Their info pack states next Mon 14th as results for the pretest, written exams on Jan 16th.
Re: Westminster School 11+
Received invitation email on last Friday.
Re: Westminster School 11+
Ah, we've not heard anything so that probably means DS has not been selected.
Re: Westminster School 11+
the timeline on the WUS website states email invitations for 2nd round is Mon 14th (tomorrow). We also have not heard anything but i wouldn't rule it out yet.
Re: Westminster School 11+
I think you will get an email in any case.
And it may take few days to send out all emails.

Oh sorry, my DS application is 13+....
Really sorry of the confusion.

Re: Westminster School 11+
Just curious, on another thread you said your child was at state school. If you are applying for 13+, what are you intending to do for years 7 & 8? Grammar school then switch to Westminster for year 9? The 13+ prospectus also states that boys who are at primary school should apply for 11+ as the 13+ process is for those who can remain in prep until they are 13.Gabriel wrote:Oh sorry, my DS application is 13+....

My DS scored highly enough for QE that he should obtain a place next March but even I would have concerns about whether QE would prepare him well enough for entry to Westminster at year 9 (if 13+ was my chosen route) given the differences in curriculum.
Re: Westminster School 11+
Yes my son is in state school at moment.
We applied state grammar schools, 11+ independent schools and 13+ independent schools this year.
So Y7/8 will depend on the outcome. I have a friend was in the same situation, they got a 13+ offer two years ago, and the senior school assigned a local independent school for his son to study in Y7/8.
