Multiple choice: Allowed to write on paper?

Post by BusyQueenBee »

Hello everyone,
In the multiple choice exams... Do they allow children to write on the paper that has the questions? This would be useful to try out different jumbled letters, codes, etc. For example, I found a quick way of working out codes substitution is to write the number sequence straight on top of the letter sequence or viceversa, and then substitution is fast and a piece of cake, but of course DS could only do this if he is allowed to write on the paper...

The answer varies by school/area.

Perhaps try asking in the Surrey section

Or ring the schools and ask the question.

Hi,

I found this thread in the Surrey section as I too am interested in knowing the answer to this and it seems that you can write on the question paper.
