Thanks for that. I got a link from the place I downloaded the past papers from yesterday - but it didn't work. I'm now resisting showing DS (who is off school ill) in case he gets these as a practice paper at school.

Having one natural speller and one not-speller-at-all I find it very interesting and can't judge whether I think they are hard or not. But I still like to know what sort of things they will be doing.

I saw this and made up a similar one for a girl in DD's class for the very reason that JRM mentioned . It took ages to sort out and is 16 or 17 pages long. I'm too scared to print it in case I spot several unintended mistakes.
