Very interesting report - there has been a focus on 'Forest Schools' and 'Learning outside the classroom' in Bucks so it's good to see the benefit is recognised again.

I attribute my children's academic success to the fact that I never allowed them indoors from birth to 11. Well almost never.

At work outdoor play is favourite of children and staff. So many opportunities to learn and experiment.
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad !
