Mutal Transfer between Slough Herschel & Reading Keddric
Hi,
My daughter got admission in Slough Herschel grammar school this year and she is doing very well there. Due to family re-location we are moving to Reading/Bracknell. Is anyone who is currently studying in Reading Kendrick School interested for a mutual transfer to Slough Herschel Grammar School.
Many thanks

I am afraid it is not possible to "trade" school places in this way. If Kendrick is full then you can still apply for a place and go to independent appeal when this is refused. You may find that you need to take another test as many schools will not accept an 11 plus pass from a different school if the testing arrangements are different. Assuming it is still possible to travel to the present school from your new address you should hang on to your current school place whist you try for the new one.
I am sure that Berkshire experts will give you some specific advice about Kendrick and appealing for a place.
