Appeal - Kent Nonqualification

I assume such a letter is either (a) to provide evidence of ability for the non-qualification part of an appeal, or (b) to provide evidence at an oversubscription appeal for a school that excels at music. What would you expect a letter from a music teacher to contain?
In either case I would be looking for at least grade 4, preferably grade 5.
Etienne
Thanks Ettienne, couldn't see the music teacher, left her a note and hoping to get a response from her before end of week.I assume such a letter is either (a) to provide evidence of ability for the non-qualification part of an appeal, or (b) to provide evidence at an oversubscription appeal for a school that excels at music.
Hi Twinkles,Hi toy, how did you get on today? Fingers crossed that both teachers are being helpful.
Class teacher was more than helpful, she'll be submitting any evidence I ask her to. She showed me recent test stating my son's achievement in maths, eng and science. he's got a 5b in maths, likewise in science, english not so good with a 4a, but teacher explained he did not finish the test and that she's more than willing to state in a letter that he is a 5.
School we are appealing to has specialism in maths and science.......
Ettiene, I have a letter from class teacher which was used in the unsuccessful review. I would be asking her for another letter to show son's current achievement, do I ask her to write another letter including details of the first one or is it ok to get the new one and send both together?
I'm not sure if I have 2 letters dated differently, what type of questions it would elicit from the panel, considering the fact that the review the letter was used for was unsuccessful.
Thank you.
I am, finally, putting my appeal together and am having trouble in deciding how best to deal with the extenuating circumstances.
I don't want to waffle on too much but need to get across the fact that my father was in hospital for 12 weeks and it caused major disruption to my DS's life and everyone's emotional well being.
I do not have any evidence of school work declining though.
Any thoughts anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
