Bucks appeal for 113

I'm appealing for DD after a shocking and surprising result: 113 and 110. Already working at some Level 5s and predicted all Level 5s. Was scoring in high 60's in previous papers. Is this a good reason to use at appeal?

Or is high 60's just not enough. Have applied for raw scores and remark. Can't understand why they just don't print the raw scores on the letter!

We didn't have a tutor, just went through things at home.

HT not sure it's worth appealing, but has agreed to write letter of support. Recommendation was a 1:1.

Any advice gladly received.

I suspect something like 69/80 might be around a pass mark, depending on how the standardisation is then done. You could certainly mention this, but I'm afraid practice scores don't usually count as evidence as they can't be verified.

A 1:1 recommendation is very good - provided that most of the children the head recommended did go on to qualify. (The appeal papers will include an appendix with a breakdown of the results.)
