Non-qualification Appeal

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I wonder if anyone can offer me some advice?
We had an unsuccessful review back in November, but decided to carry on with an appeal.
We are gathering all the relevant academic evidence etc as our appeal is set for Tuesday 4th May.
Do we attend, be told whether the review was fair/unfair and then proceed? And will that happen there and then, or will it take place another time?
