36 does sound an awful lot.

It does to me as a mum whose child will be one of the 36 :cry:

No point in anyone having a right of appeal, though, if the admission number can never be breached .......
I agree, but I thought there was a legal minimum amount of space required per student and I don't understand how that can just be disregarded to such a big degree if the classes are currently at full capacity with 32/33 pupils? :?

PS I love the fact that the smilies can now be inserted within the body of the message and don't jump automatically to the end. :D

I don't understand how that can just be disregarded .....
I assume the panel didn't turn down the school's stage 1 case? That being so, and assuming ICS legislation wasn't involved, it was a balancing act - they must have judged that the parental cases were strong enough to outweigh the prejudice to the school.

I didn't know that.
Mind you, there's quite a lot I don't know about the new version! :lol:
