Well Done to you..... My DD is starting at SLGG in September too, sure they will meet up at some point.

Be interested to know the new mobile phone rules too, my DD has to get 2 buses to get there so really needher to have phone especially when she first starts. x

the new mobile phone rule is just that they have to be kept in their lockers all day and not used during break etc. They are allowed them before and after school (to and from school)

Congrats on your wonderful news UB4009, you'll be on cloud nine for sometime, your DD must be over the moon too!
Now you have the joy's of buying school uniform etc :D

I will fill in the `sticky` later after work

We were appealing on non qualification and oversubscription, so anyone still waiting...don`t give up...the odds were def. well against us and my lovely OH wrote me a fab speech ( he was in the USA for the appeal). and I was like a swan ( serene on top of the water, paddling like **** underneath) but was told to remain calm and positive, which I just managed to do. We had a really nice panel too, which I now understand is not common place.

Thank you everyone...we are still over the moon...
