Thank you for your advice.

I haven't yet had the headteachers summary but I will certainly ask if something similar could be added - they have phoned me about the appeal this morning and do appear to be doing as much as they can to be supportive.

We are having an independent assessment done next week which I am hoping will support our appeal as well as any future requests for extra time.
