How do we check reliability of HT's recommendation? (Bucks)

Post by Hilda »

Am helping a friend with appeal. DD on 117 is recommended 1:1 but how can parents see reliability of HTs recommendation. Presumably appeal board will have access to recommendations and scores for peers in class. HT is reluctant to share this information with parent. What can they do?

Hi Hilda

The parent will receive a copy of the recommendations in their appeal pack, roughly 7 days before the hearing. All information that the panel receive is also sent to the parent and the LA Rep.

It may mean that the final presentation has to be adjusted if the Head's recommendations are not all they should have been, so prepare to be flexible!

Thanks Sally-Anne

What will that recommendation look like?

Will it list all HT recommendations of 3:X or higher with the respecttive two 11+ scores? Or will it list the recommendation and ultimate two scores of only those that were successful and those that are appealing?
