Help needed after HT appeal turned down.

Post by guinessaddick »

My DD goes to a school in Greenwich, about 3 years ago we moved into Bexley borough, however she remained at the same school. She scored 212 in the Bexley 11+ (selective at 218)and the HT suggested that we appeal.
MY DD is currently 5A /6 in English, 5C in Maths and 5 for other areas, the HT has predicted 5As for her SATS 2011 and that she was highly recommended. She has been on the gifted & talented list for many years and during year 5 was on the Olympic Delivery Authority Construction Crew. The HT appeal was turned down.

We have put Townley and Bexley Grammar down on our CAF along with a local school. Can we appeal to each GS? If so, when can we do this?

The main reason why I think she did not score more was that, we as parents left it too late, getting a tutor for her, about a month before she took the papers.

Any tips or advice would be most welcome.
